Ok. At my shop we carry dual (I know flame me) Its our Below entry level line. We replace at least....AT LEAST 2 a week. They are terribly built. I wouldnt hesitate to buy jensen or any audiovox unit like rampage before a dual. They are without a doubt as bad or worse than a Pyle, Pyramid, Boss, or other simalar brand.

i have a friend who got his cd player at walmart ( a dual ) after i had advised him not to.. 7 months down the road guess what happens

the motor goes out in the little flip down face thing.. his cd is stuck and cant change the cd... he had even filled out the little warrantee card... calld up the number he could find for them.. counldnt squeeze a RMA number out of them for the life of him.. tried for almost a month til he got deployd and said screw it ill buy a nice pioneer or panasonic when i get back //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Dual doesnt mind offering a waranty on their Items because of one fact. When you pay 80 bucks for your dual headuint. You just paid them enough to build 10 or 12 Dual headunits, So what does it hurt them if they make a shitty product and have to replace the unit 3 or 4 times.

Very true chevy i never thought bout it that way. i do agree though dual is horrible my friend had 6x9s by dual and they blew the first day

whats up with the volume level to my friend has the motorized one and he has to put his on loud mode an turn it up to 35 to get it as loud as my xplod on just 18 without the loud on and my sub and bass level below half way
