So once upon a time long long ago (well acatually 2 months ago) there was this guy driving home from San Francisco on a saturday morning. He thought all was well untill he was pulled over by an officer of the law for speeding. the officer said that the man was doing 94mph in a 65mph zone. Impossible replied the man my cuise controll was set at 68mph. However the officer had raidar proof of the mans unsafe speed and wrote him a ticket. feeling as though justice was unjust that day the man took his vehicle to a local dealer. he had the vehicle checked out and sure enough the speedometer in the vehicle was defective! with his new found information the man decided he would take his case to court and plee before a judge. the judge listend to the mans story and didnt give a F*CK! he took the mans liscence for 30 days and hit him with $481 fine. and thats how the state of california like to punish those who are trying to uphold the law but certain circumstances prohibit them from doing so!

hwy 101 5 lannes for traffic roads are smooth and hardly a soul on the road on a saturday morning so you cant tell how fast your passing cars because there are no cars to pass.

If I was that judge, I would have done the same thing...because for the speedometer to be that defective, it would have been noticeable beforehand.

Maybe 5-7mph difference...but 94? C'mon.

Dam, truck stock? Thats hella smooth.

Nothing else to do but cough of the dough and move one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. Or you'll be singing "I fought the law..............and the LAW WON" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif.

Also I dont know about there but here I think you get a big time fine for driving with a defective speedo //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif.

you must not commute to work. when your stuck in commute traffic 5 days a week going to and from work you dont have to look at your speedometer because youll never get close to the speedlimit. so you really wouldnt notice that the speedometer was off unless you drove on a non work day which i hardly do anyways. i get my fill of driving during the week. and you should have seen some of the crazy sh1t my speedo would do once i started watching it. i would be totally stoped and it say i was doing 30. or be driving on a normal road following traffic and it said i was doing 0. ive also talked to a few other people on forums who have had the same problem with their gauges. you see my speed sensor is right on however its the gauge thats defective. and when your commuting most of the time how are you really going to notice unless somone points it out to you?
