F*CK!! i keep blowing amp fuses!!!

Man I had the same problem, as soon as i touch the power wire to the amp, with the ground already connected, I get an instant pop. But i ended up puttin the ground wire in the power term, and the power in the ground term, durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. But fixed it and it worked. And I also had a prob with a audio cough shitty cough cough bahn amp. I had 2 10s that wanted more power than it could put out, but I had gains all the way up, and music blastin, The fuse would sometimes needed to be jiggled to make it work, then I was drivin, the fuse poped, but I wiggled it and it still worked even though the fuse was popped, then I was drivin and I smell really bad burnt plastic, and the fuse melted itself to the amp and It yet still worked with being wiggled at times. Maybe your just puttin alota stress on your amp, put the gains down a lil, try 30 amp fuses, 20s blow easily. And check to see if your power is in the right place, and your ground is too, dont make the same mistake that I did
trust me i would never make the same mistake u did //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

lmfao at this noob. Switching power and ground, leaving a fuse in while it melted, switching fuses. Your an idiot. Dont give advice. Ever.
x1200. Listen to the bxmfeg. Why use a fuse in the first place if it will never pop when you need it to prevent a fire. Just replace the fuse with a chunk of metal and then put a lit blowtorch to your carpet gonna do the same thing eventually.

Man the audiobahn was an amp that wasnt mine and I had no care for it, just cared about my jams hahhaha. He was mad when he got it back, oooopss lol. And the other amp wasnt entirely my fault tho. Someone else took it out to hear his new 12s, but when he was puttin it back in my truck dumbass put the ground in the power, so I came outside after blowin a blunt then my dumbass didnt check to see if it was right, I hooked it up and I was confused for the longest time lmao. But I blew my amp

because i got hi

because i got hi

because i got hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.

lmao. And who you goin call a noob, punk I know exactly what im doin. Oh and are you so nerdy that you call people noobs outside the computer? or u just use that pwnt word or I own you. lmao nerds these days hahahahahaha

yeah....so anyways i just unplugged the comps and replaced the fuses. then i tried turning the amp on, fuses popped again. so i guess that rules out the comps and pretty much means i have a fried amp, correct?

well i dont think thats an option right now. im up at school where i have no jack, a low car, and no place to jack my car up (all my power wire is run under the car).

Ha thats why. Who knows what abuse that wire took. I bet thats why its ****in up. Drill a hole in the firewall and run the wire underneath the carpet, then I bet youll get a difference. Try popin the hood and take the amp there and hook it up straight to the batt, if the amp works, then its the wire thats ****ed up
