yea well if u have two 1500's plus a comp amp you are looking at close to 4krms its gonna take a ho alt and big 3 and prob a yellow top and a small bat in the back

Yeah im doing the big 3 when i upgrade the sub and speakers and when i damplify the doors. And yeah later on im going to get a yellow top and then a kinetic 2400 before i upgrade to the btl

i have an 01 supercrew, repainted jet black that has been dropped 2 front 4 rear on 20's for over 3 years...i think its time to get new rims //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif i have a 6 in strip on my windshield (5%), double 35 on the front driver and passenger windows, and 5% over the afactory tinted glass on the other three. flowmaster 40 series, k&n filter (gonna change it to something else, i dont like it. ****ed up mu o2 sensor) as for audio, i have infinity door speakers, son to be dls components. an RE se12 in custom ported box (removable for full usage of rear seat) on sundown 1000. all of this of a 3 yr old kenwood ddeck (alpine 2din) and i have deadened the roof and the rear wall. audio is pretty cherray and yeah, once i finish my audio install should be mean!

My 98 I've had in the past:

6 JL 10w1v2s in 14 cubes at 33 hz on a Directed 1500d w/ CDT Comps (same as now) up front on a Directed 300/2

Then I switched out the 6 10s for two Maw 15s in 6 cubes at 30 hz

(Then amps were ganked, sold Maws)

Then bought a Directed 1100d5 and ran a RE RE 10 and the CDTs

Now I'm running the CDTs on a Cadence TXA3002, waiting to install a CaDENCE txa1000d and woofer is undecided.

I am sound deadened on the back wall and on the front doors.

i know one thing that sucked was getting the speaker wire to the front doors specially on the driver side with the whole parking brake in the way it really sucked

is there an easy way to do that or no

also for front speakers on 150rms per side what size wire should i run

2006 f150 extended cab sundown 100.4, sundown sae1000, and 2x sundown sd1v2 10's under the back seat. sound pretty **** good.

what all did you sound deaden and where did you ground your amps at

my amp is grounded by connecting it to the bolt that connects the rear seat to the cab...

To be a topic pirate here, im about to sound deaden my truck with dynamat xtreme bulk paks and ill need some extra but i think I have that covered. Long stroy short, if any body has any pointer to throw my way about removing back seat, or sound deadening the truck please pm me!

here is my truck. I have full install log if interested. also depending on where you are in florida feel free to hit me up for a meet or help.

as for the grounding poind IMO that is a crappy spot. our back walls are thin as hell and attached to the frame with only 6 bolts and those bolts are through rubber bushings so tehre are not great contact points. i drilled through the floor board and then bolted direct to the frame. super easy and as good as a ground can get. with you set up i would be shocked if your not getting large voltage drops

as for the big 3 that is also very easy on our trucks. take about an hour tops. also you can even get a HO 290 amp alt that does rated power at low RPM right from the auto parts stores for just a few hundred bucks with lifetime replacement.

for deadening i put three layers of Bquite extreme on the doors walls and roof. I only put one layer on the floor becasue the factory was already rather thick.

and as for my voltage drop it idles around 13.8 13.9 when the engine is warm and not just started and then at full tilt it gets down to 12.4 with some songs and thats only on 1200rms

but where you can get a 290amp alt for a few hundred bucks
