Extremly high quality.

Hello, I have a 2002 ford f150 extended cab truck.

Very nice, what kind of options do I have to put high powered and high quality subwoofers in?

im looking for +-2000rms in the amp / woofers.

I was looking at zapco, are there any other companies that have insane quality amps for maybe a little less money? and that put out insane wattage?

thanks.

Also what kind of subwoofers would you reccomed..

I was thinking of going with audiobahn, any good/bad news about audiobahn?

Well Zapco does make great amps. What kinda system are you looking for?? SPL or SQ?? And what are you looking to spend? Also I would not go audiobahn.

Other high quality amps that are great

US Amps

PPI

But....

YOu can also get insane wattage amps that are not even close to the price of high end Zapco like

JBL 1200.1

Memphis

DEI

Cadence

Pheonix Gold

and the list goes on!

Well if anyone asked me what i would reccomend if they wanted a single Amp that can put out 2000 watts i would have to reccommend these. . .

Harrison Labs may be a good way to go for you. They are strong amps and very reasonably priced (http://www.thezeb.com, http://www.ampmanaudio.com)

Soundtream Trantula (Expensive, but if you got the money itll do what you need it to)

but. . . .

You can do a pair of JBL 1200.1's

Crossfire VR600

MTX8100 (i think thats it)

etc.... and it would probably run you cheaper.

Audiobahn IMO suxs, from my experience they tend to be over rated as far as power handling... claiming they can take 800 watts RMS i blew a sub off a Bostwick 2100HC in the reccommended size sealed enclosure,

Also the bass reproduction is about the sloppiest i have ever heard. With the exception of the Titanium series, every series ive heard are just basically sluggish as hell.

I hope this helps, good luck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

audiobahn amps are way underrated, they are expensive but definatly high quality and pumps out power, the subs id have to agree are over rated but not the amps at all, they do ask alot out of your electrical system though so if u do decide audiobahn be prepaired for some light dimming and a new alt

IMO and experience I haven't noticed audiobahn as expensive, high quality, or pumping tons of power. Maybe thats just from my experiences but everything audiobahn I have ever heard sounds like crap and people usually overpaid for it and they thought they had got a good deal. Wierd huh...

Heh I just realized grape_ape was talking about an SQ system and said he was considering Zapco amps and audiobahn amps at the same time. Anyone else find this amusing?? cause I do.

What's so funny, a friend of mine said I should go with bahn, im just wondering what's the scoop on them., Yeah I looked at that mcintosh but **** that's expensive but NIIICEE>

I am guessing im going to save up for zapco..
