How does one increase the voltage of the power going to their amplifier from like 12v to 14v?

Is this done by a battery with a high current output or a HO alternator, or both?

Doing the Big 3, 0 gauge wiring, HO alternator, horribly expensive, extra battery, horribly expensive.
