which optima battery would do best under the hood and for cranking the amps out once the engine is started? not looking for power when my car is off but mainly for when its on. also must be for daily. thx for the replies!

Double? A yellow is usually $30-50 more than a red top with a red top typically starting at $160.

Red is CCA, and Yellow is a slow release, if i am correct. so the answer to that would be Red but the Yellow is bigger but probably around the same CCA. I just bought two of each, red/yellow.

I might have some for sale come this saterday if you want to get ahold of me.

The red is basically a regular battery.The YT and blue are the deep cycles.Those are the ones you want.
