Extreme Audio's Astro van is for sale!
The van is the current world record holder in
dB Drag Extreme 3-4 class @ 179.1 dB
IDBL Ultimate 3 @ 179.3 dB (overall world record)
USACi Supermod Extreme @ 178.5 dB (B&K legal record)
I'm only looking to sell the van 100% as is, with all equipment still intact and ready to burp. Its been the WR holder in its classes for 3 years running, someone with more time to spend on it, take it off my hands and keep it at the top!
The van consists of the following
4 - JBL A6000 GTi amps
4 - Fi Car Audio 18" BTL
10 - Eagle Picher Horizon 12v batteries
40 - Hawker BC Cell 2v batteries
Batcap 14v/16v Battery Charger
2 - 8400 series batcap 14v batteries
1 - 350Amp Powermaster Competition Alternator
1 - Alpine CD player in custom podium made from a JBL sub and JBL Amp
Tons of green neon in the amps, podium, and under the van
The interior of the van is a Bandpass design, done a little bit different than the typical. There is quite a bit of concrete, steel, resin, sand, fillite, you name it. The windows vary from 2" to 4" plexi. The van is built VERY solid, and weighs roughly 11,500 lbs. The paint and body are in VERY good shape for your typical Extreme vehicle, and I'm not afraid to say it is among the better looking ones you will find.
I fully intend to help whoever ends up with it stay at the top as long as possible. I simply don't have the time to continue to put into it, as my store is just busy as it can possibly be. I will make a full video describing every thing about it, and every reason things are done the way they are.
I have pics readily available, and welcome any questions anyone may have.
I was asking $35k before, I'm now asking $25,000 for the complete push button ready mix world record holder!
Email me at SPLMAN@aol.com with any questions.
