Extreme Audio's Astro van is for sale!

The van is the current world record holder in

dB Drag Extreme 3-4 class @ 179.1 dB

IDBL Ultimate 3 @ 179.3 dB (overall world record)

USACi Supermod Extreme @ 178.5 dB (B&K legal record)

I'm only looking to sell the van 100% as is, with all equipment still intact and ready to burp. Its been the WR holder in its classes for 3 years running, someone with more time to spend on it, take it off my hands and keep it at the top!

The van consists of the following

4 - JBL A6000 GTi amps

4 - Fi Car Audio 18" BTL

10 - Eagle Picher Horizon 12v batteries

40 - Hawker BC Cell 2v batteries

Batcap 14v/16v Battery Charger

2 - 8400 series batcap 14v batteries

1 - 350Amp Powermaster Competition Alternator

1 - Alpine CD player in custom podium made from a JBL sub and JBL Amp

Tons of green neon in the amps, podium, and under the van

The interior of the van is a Bandpass design, done a little bit different than the typical. There is quite a bit of concrete, steel, resin, sand, fillite, you name it. The windows vary from 2" to 4" plexi. The van is built VERY solid, and weighs roughly 11,500 lbs. The paint and body are in VERY good shape for your typical Extreme vehicle, and I'm not afraid to say it is among the better looking ones you will find.

I fully intend to help whoever ends up with it stay at the top as long as possible. I simply don't have the time to continue to put into it, as my store is just busy as it can possibly be. I will make a full video describing every thing about it, and every reason things are done the way they are.

I have pics readily available, and welcome any questions anyone may have.

I was asking $35k before, I'm now asking $25,000 for the complete push button ready mix world record holder!

Email me at SPLMAN@aol.com with any questions.

Yes, its the one from mythbusters. The subs have been changed from 15" to 18" since then, so its considerably louder than it was then. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Anyone wanting to see better pics, and/or the mythbusters clip, go to our website and then click our myspace link at the top right corner. There you will find a few pics on a slideshow, and the mythbusters clip.

My other van, more of a Bassrace/Demo van is also on there, and possibly for sale as well.

Thanks

I've got the world finals trophies, and took a picture with both vans and over 170 trophies that I've got on the walls at the shop.

I will still continue to run the van if I have it, I don't "need" the money. I would prefer to keep it at the top with someone else, and free up the space in the shop. If I keep it, I will continue to work on it, because I'm to stubborn to not touch it and lose, LOL.

Thanks guys

I think anyone out there looking to get to the top of the SPL world, without spending years figuring it out, this is the perfect option. I can promise I spent a TON more money than that on this thing over the years. All it will take is a little bit of work here and there to keep it resting at the top!
