a fuse is NOT necessary if within 18 inches. by all means fuse it if you want. youll get no negative effects..im just saying

http://www.kinetikaudio.com/manuals/khccells.pdf page 8 then if the 2 2400's are within 18" and well secured you run 0 gauge between them. if they are far apart i would fuse them

ya if the batteries are right next to each other the distance of the wire would literally be like 6 inches

kinetik's are perfectly fine under the hood.

Yea lots of people run 1800s under there hood, just check out how much room you have to work with and look at dimensions on the batts.

what else r u planning on upgrading? 5000 with just batterys and no alt, will not work. Get urself a 250a alt or higher.

its an '04 f-150 supercrew. yea im gettin a new alt, cant decide which though. probably looking at about 300A. thinking either ohio gen., excessive amperage, or powermaster performance SPL alt. but i was just shootin off the wall with the 1800, can prob look into exactly how big

def deciede on an alt first. THats gonna help u out the most. Also do the big three if u havent. THen see how u sit with ur voltage, and get as many batterys as u need from there. U could upgrade ur one up front first, if u have an old battery.
