The POS needs to be connected to a 12 volt IGNITION source. NOT constant battery, it must only have power when the vehicle is running.
The NEG must go to a good ground source. It will charge at 20 volts if it is not gounded good !
The FLD goes to the brown wire coming from the plug in the alternator.
The STATOR goes to the blue wire coming from inside the alternator.There is a small white screw on the top of the regulator, down in a hole, this is where you adjust the voltage at. Turn it left to lower the voltage and right to raise the voltage
