After getting an ipod video for x-mas i have put a mass of songs on my laptop that is only 30gb does anyone know what a good external harddrive is and where to get one. Im probably going to need one thats like 200-200 gigs.

Screw Best Buy... The only time to buy from them is when an item is on a very special sale or if you absolutely must have the local extended return policy on something you know you'll screw up like a Sony PSP.

Staples has 250GB on sale if you dont feel like waiting to order one. But just buy the case then buy the HD you want to go in it, its cheaper that way. Im in the process of making " DA Terabyte".

Like someone already posted Newegg.com and you could try tigerdirect.com Both sell good products with warrenties. Expect to pay about $200 for a 200-250 gb.

actually, on pricewatch.com you can get the drives cheaper. That's where I shop around for computer stuff
