I was thinking to myself on my way into work about how, if you set the crossover in the HU and the amp and they are both 12db/octave slopes. You end up with a 24db/octave slope. Then i thought what if the headunit is a Butterworth slope and the amp is a Linkwits slope. I would image you would end up with a hybrid slope that just consists of all the valleys between the two. Would that be correct? Also would that have a practical application or is that a crappy sounding slope? Thanks guys just some random thoughts.
