Extending wire options?

I have some 1/0 and somw 8 gauge powering my amps and the wire is now to short. What is the best way or accepted way to splice some wire? It won't be visible.

There are extenders i believe by stinger.

For 1/0 I have taken some softer hallow copper rod cut it. Slide the wire directly over the top of each other inside and then crush flat in a vise or with a wide head small sledge hammer. Then slide multiple layers of heat schrink over it. Never had any problems doing it this way. IMO

There are probably better ways but it works for me.IMO

I prefer if I can to just re-run the wire, this is the best way.IMO

you can buy packs of whatever size gauge wire you need butt connectors online... just search up the size you need and butt connectors on google.

if it is a short run of wire, you can just throw a t-block there, and run whatever off of that.
