What kind of truck do you have? I have 2 12's under my 03 silverado ex cab seat firing down and my amp mounted on the back wall, and I tweaked my seat so I could fold the back down which you couldnt do before.

you can only fold the bottom half of the seat (where your *** goes) up towards the seatback (where your aunt left a grease mark from her soul glow).

nG how do you like your amp mounted to your box? I have heard mixed opinions about mouting amps to boxes.

I removed my rear seat and made a whole box/amprack etc...

If you wanna run the big dawg subs the seat has to go ......

the rear seat is usless anyways,you ever sit in it,WTF

Great, done it for years... done it for other installs to. Never any problems.

Id put the box on the drivers side, most older trucks only have the third door on the passenger side. Id put my amp on the side of the box.

Yup thats where i got it from, I'm on the site under the same name as here. I also heard you can just bend the tabs outwards about a 1/2in but it seems if you do that it wont be as tight of a fit when secured. At first its kinda wierd getting the back to disengage correctly. When you lift the bottom of the seat up the hooks will unlatch then put the bottom part back down the fold forward. I wouldnt try to fold forward as the bottom goes down because there are child safety seat tabs back there that will catch your amp if you have it mounted directly behind them, thats why my amp is all the way right.
