Just a curious question..if your subwoofer is on one side of your extended cab or the whole thing..where do you guys have your amp(s) mounted at? I was thinking under my seat..but I kinda wanna see my amp lol. And what side would you put one subwoofer on..drivers side or passenger side? Thanks.

One of friends has his amps in the back wall behind the seat but I have also seen some under the seat. I have a Silverado ext. cab and Im thinking about putting my amps in the back wall unless i just go with one sub then I'll probably put it next to it. I think it all comes down to how you want your set up since it is your truck.

These are the best pictures I have where you can see the amp. Not really tho on the first one.

Just look right under the front edge of the box and you will see a lil bit of it

my amps are on the back wall and the woofers are both upfiring on the drivers side and the port is to the rear on the passenger side.

Hey Bri how did you get the seat to fold down like that, and how did you "mount" them to the back wall?

I originally wanted the amps to be seen and show them off, but now I realize that having them in an area like behind the bench seat would make them a serious pain in the *** to steal, and would probably take too long to get if my truck was broken into.

One more thing, did you ground your head unit seperately, or did you just go through the wire harness?

how did i get my seat to fold down like what? the amps are simply mounted to the rear wall, take a drill and screw those *****es to the wall. just dont use too long of a screw. the head unit is just wired to the harness. oh, and you might want to raise the seat a bit to get a little more air space. mine is an 05 silverado btw.

Sub firing up, in center or slightly passenger side of center. Port on driver side upfiring.

the back part doesnt fold down. only the seat bottom folds up. what makes you think i folded the seat that way?
