Explain This

I just got a box built for my diamonds(d6), and they dont sound the same. I had a prefab box before I had this box built an it sound better. The box I just got built came off the specs on the diamond web site. Can anyone explain why. Both boxes are vented.

Im not sure on da specs but da box seems a little smaller than the other. The guys at Tweeter's built it so Im pretty sure they built it to spec. The gain on the amp or about the same.

Well I turn up da gains a little and it sound better, but I blew a fuse. Heading to Tweeter's to get a 150amp ANL. Had a 60 at first, just because I had a memphis 500d on it. Thought I could use it.

cant find a fuse holder anywhere. found the 150ampANL fuse, but no fuseholder. How much should I pay for one, cause the empty row price tags were49.99-69.99.

How do they sound different? Not as loud? It is most likely because the prefab box was a one note box and the spec box is actually accurate. You likely had a really big peak in the response from the prefab making is louder at the cost of sound quality and you miss the extra volume. The solution is probably going to be more power.
