expedition owners

To owners or anyone who has installed in an expedition, where did you ground to in the back if you did not make a run to the front battery? I have a d3100 in back and will have 2 amps back there as well. I don't see any great ground spots so far. any help/suggestions???

do you mean drill down through the back deck area?

use a rear seat bolt

Fold the rear seat down and pop off the long piece of trim that goes from side-to-side, directly behind the rear seat, then just ground down the paint and there you go

thanks guys. I considered that area but everything around there and on into the deck seemed to be a mere sheet metal shell on top to hold down trim pieces( came with 3rd row and split back seats). wanted to see what has been used succesfully. I will try it out and see how well it works for me until i can add a run of 1/0 from the front!
