pft! get the HO alt! forget the extra batts in the back if your going to run up to 2500rms... i have an ho alt and one agm battery as my starter. no voltage drop with roughly 2k in my truck. so go for the h.o. alt its often the first thing every does NOT get due to the price thinking adding batteries will help. now as far as substage, with your budget i say get another type are man! they are **** loud woofers! two of them on an audiopipe 1800. budget at its finest. Ill design you a box for free. just link me to this thread when it comes times and ill do it. also ppl dont pm me tryna get a free design.

I was thinking that as well but i am always down to try something new...I'm guessing wire the AP down to 2 ohms for 1100w?...or the full 1800? I wouldnt want to have them smoke up.

I also have to check my sub now...it has gotten extremely hot...though when i changed the box the coil was still shiny...hope it still is :\

the type r's? they are the 12's correct? and you have a d2 version? with an h.o. alt the ap will run fine on .5ohm. your call, on 900rms to the pair the arg 12's do well in 2.35ft^3 @ 32hz per. on 1400 1500 or so to the pair (assuming the desired .5ohm wiring after box rise on a static load that is lol) about 1.75ft^3 @ 32hz per

tc9's are un subs when the right coil is used. they have a large gap so a nice fatty rw copper coil in there would produce a **** high BL... fun subs that get low. chk out the tc9 i built op. keep in mind this is only ONE 12" woofer:
