excessive amperage

anyone know how good excessive amperage alternators are? ive been lookinh for a good high output alt for a 01 civic and they have been the cheapest by far for what i was looking for. but im just wondering how reliable they are. second question is my amp says at 15.5 it runs 2500wrms and i have two batteries in my trunk wired up to 16 volts will the new alt help to keep the voltage up there?

You will have to get an adjustable voltage regulator if you want to charger your batteries at 16v.

As far as Excessive is concerned, Nathan's an alright guy to deal with. The alt's that I've gotten through them have held up well over the last 8 months or so.
