no sure if that IA amp is power hungry. i would get a 250 alt and a couple of batts. couple runs of 1/0

check MM. sometimes he has sales.

worry about disco lights? get H.I.D.S

well my car idles really low about 600-650 and my stock gives better idle amps until about 750. Ex. last night started car drove to mc. donalds and volt meter read about 13.2 at idle and while waiting in line it kept dropping to about 12.5 till i just started holding the gas. I have a import though, don't hear many or any problems with domestic b/c they usually idle higher.

forgot to add I did NOT have the system or radio on at all just headlights, now if i do a direct swap to my stock voltage will stay about 14.2 with the radio on and moderate (less than half) volume bumping. My friend has a mustang and his works fine no problems what so ever. My car it's a pain in the *** to change the alt so i just gas it when at idle. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

tru...well right now with my factory alt it idles around 13.8-14.0v when warm...when cold it idles 14.5-14.9

and what kind of alt do you got and you buddy got??

well..i just got this e-mail from nate.....I can do the 200 amp for $300 shipped, that is with the repeat buyer discount. The 250 amp would be $375, they are usually $420. It will come with a 1 year warranty. You will see about 130 amps at idle with the overdrive pulley that would be installed on it. Let me know how I can help. Thank you,

Nate

so it looks like i might be going with MM they put out alot more at idle...

but please still post the pros and cons of both companys...thanks alot
