What year Mustang is this off of? It appears to be from a '94-'95 , they came with 5.0 engines. The '96-'98( through present actually) come with 4.6 modular engines. Not dumping your thread, just asking to clarify which engine it was for.

it was custom mounted on a bronco

With the 12 o'clock and 6 o' clock mounting ears it would fit most non-modular ford engines. Modular engines(ex. 4.6, 5.4) have the alt mounted in the center of the engine attached to the block with two mounts on the lower side of the alt.

looks like this alternator will only fit 94-96 mustangs and cobras with the 3.8V6 or 5.0V8

looks like it is for the "v6" mustang and not the v8 and in that case i guess it would be universal from 94-98
