I then got a JEWISH attorney recently.. . . he says not to worry. . . . he's gonna make it worth the wait:greedy:

well you guys are definitly not going to believe this... so I go to the house and talk to the mother and she wanted the police to file a report of the incident and see the damage, and after the police left, the daughter ran outside and slashed 2 of my tires and tried attacking me. This family is nuts with the damage to my car and where I live, very few shops are open on a sunday, so I have to leave my car at a garage until Monday, because the only garage that would take the car and even look at it and give it a chance, did not have 2 tires to fit my vehicle.

A friend of mine just got in a fender bender and all of them ended up with "****ed up backs and hurt necks" Serioulsy the headlight was broken and the pass fender was dented up and thats it..

He sued them for pain and suffering and some other bullshit for 100k, the lawyer got 10k and he was still *****ing.

I think its pretty shitty to go out and sue someone to just get you some change it your pocket for a couple of months, granted they have the money, but dont that just kinda give you a dirty feeling in your stomache. I guess it was just the way I was raised but I couldnt do that myself..

Her mom who wakes up for work at 2am, backed out and hit my car... and of course decided not to tell me... so I woke up and saw it, knew it had to be her... but wasn't 100% sure...
anyways, the mom came out with it and told me, but she insists going through insurance on this because she can't afford what was done... Now my main problem now is that my insurance company is saying because I was driving the car and I am not the primary user of the vehicle and my mom is, that my mom's insurance will go up slightly because of this... This also pisses me off, because the car was parked there over night and nobody was driving it, yet for the accident, they insisted taking my license and info and using it... and sayin that I was responsible for my car...

Something seems wrong and either me or my mom will get screwed in the long run... is my ex's mom playin a game on us?

Also, I've only spoken, myself with her insurance company and they said if I want to avoid going to court in all of this, that I have to get it repaired at a shop of their choice... also a little sketchy, I think I should be able to go where I wanna go with it...

What would you guys do here? I've never been in an accident or dealt with insurance companies before... any help?

I asked the officer that night to file charges. He arrested her and I am not familiar with the legal system but I believe she would get some kind of criminal record for what she had done... But the officer said he will be back to work on Thursday and asked me to consider taking time to think about pressing charges or not on the daughter. I really don't know what to do right now, I'd be happy with a fixed car and no more phone calls from her.... but she gotta learn and be punished some way too...

yea I really would have posted pics, but where this may turn into a legal thing, I was advised really not to do anything that could upset them and avoid contact with them so this does not turn into a civil thing as opposed to right now, where my dealing will all be through the police.

I just got the car back today and it was raining again, so still no pics of the accident that the mother did to my car, hopefully tomorrow.. I also kept the slashed tires...

An insurance company telling you that you have to go to THEIR body shop for repairs is illegal in most states. They're trying to run a game on you. You need to look up the real law in your state on such an issue.

Basically, they count on people being both uninformed and too lazy to fight.

You could end up with cash in your pocket.

Oh, and definitely press charges against the ex.
