Ex Gf thinks she's pregnant! :(

Just got a call from my ex gf. She's back in town from WVU, and is telling me how she is about to go overdraw $500 on her credit card and have an abortion. She has'nt had her period in a month, and thinks she is pregnant. She was pretty serious about not having it when I talked to her, saying how the baby would be retarded because of all the meds she is on for her mood and emotional disorders (calonapen, aderol, anti depression meds, etc.), and how bad she has been taking care of herself, staying up for days at a time, studying for her masters. She has no job, and really is in no position to have a kid right now. Last time I saw her (3 weeks ago) she was in a terrible mood, and left right after thanksgiving, saying I annoy her, and she didnt want anything more to do with me. She said that the last time we broke up too, and ended up calling me and hooking back up like a month later, after she got good and lonely. She said she thinks this is the reason she's been in such a pissy mood the last couple months or so.

Suggestions on how I should take this, or how to procede?

How about FIRST...you go to the drug store..and get a pregnancy test. Then if that is positive ..get a doctor to confirm it. THEN..worry about the next step.

Maybe the ex just wants cash, or is loosing it.

Does she know for sure if shes pregnant? Just missing a period doesn't make her pregnant. Sounds like shes stressed and might have some other things bothering her. My wife misses periods when she gets good and stressed like that.

I would find out 100% if shes pregnant before everyone starts freaking out. If its been a month she can take a pregnancy test and know for sure. Usually you have to wait 6 weeks before they are accurate and it sounds like shes passed that point.

well,, if she is on a bunch of meds and shit,, definantly get the thing taking care of... just remember that this is harder on her then it is on you.. so just try to be there emotionally until she can get over it.. if she is on all that meds for depression and ect.. she probably would like you to be there for her,,, unless you got extra loot and shit. i wouldnt offer any money, but thats myself... ive been in this situation, and it wasnt pretty... good luck

First this isn't the Dr. Phil forum. Second why the hell do you care? Ex-g/f, I'm assuming you aren't part of this baby equation so why do you care? Lastly, she sounds like a nutcase, one that'd I'd stay as far away from as possible, unless you are desperate which I'd assume you are since "the last time we broke up too, and ended up calling me and hooking back up" and I'm sure you are looking forward to it again.

Stupid move on your part. You broke up for a reason. Because she's a psycho ***** I would assume.
