Everything shuts off?

I was just listening to some music and i turned my balance back to 0, nothing out of the norm and all the music just cut out. The HU is still working, no issues there just nothing coming out of the speakers... I took my amp out last night and the remote wire from the HU is in. everything else is gone except the rca...

I don't know what happened, but i don't think its a fuse or anything as the HU is still working.

Anyone have any help?

Yeah, i wasn't even blaring it either. I was listening to like a commercial or something and it just died.

Car starts fine, everything works just no music.

did u try a cd, to see if it was just the radio not working? could be the internal amp not working. you could try a 4channel amp to power your speakers

Yeah, i did and it still did not play. It did it to me yesterday when i was driving, but it turned back on in a few seconds.

So are you saying my HU is busted? That would be where the amp was?

So the shit got stolen? If so, that's probably why your speakers arent outputting any sound.

well if the hu powers on but there is no output i would think it was the internal amp they have. so you could either get a new one or use the the rca output for the front and rear and run it to a 4channel amp

Check to see if your headunit has a fuse in the back, also check fuses on amp. make sure all wires are securely connected.

You say the rca's are still there and the remote but everything else is gone? Thats your problem right there no power or ground....

Yeah, i took out the amp last night along with the subs. I left the rcas plugged into the back of the HU and just put a wire nut on the remote wire. I also removed the power wire for the amp off the battery.

Why would it work fine and then just cut out?

Its working... Weird? Bad ground or something?
