Everything installed but it doesn't seem right

Well I went to a different audio store to find out what was wrong with it and they said that all the wiring wasn't right. You gotta be shitting me... the 1st place I went to has been around for 10 yrs + and they messed up tht bad while these guys just opened up last yr.

Well the 2nd shop fixed everything for me for nothing considering I had an alarm installed so they did everything all at once. There going to check everything else such as the speakers and crossovers sometime next week when they get my sub in. I special ordered a stealthbox so i'm waiting on that.

Yea I still don't have any bass but it sure isn't cracking anymore. I also noticed when I hook up my Ipod to the Avic-D3 the bass is alot stronger so u gotta adjust the EQ on your Ipod to bass reducer to get the most out of it otherwise it seems to be distorting alot.

You are a lost cause.

You should have read a hell of a lot more and waited for a lot more responses.

before buying ANYTHING!

The guys in the shops are desperate for sales. It does not matter how long someone has been in business because they hire employees to do the jobs.. you never kno which dumbass employee is going to be working on your car

I can't believe you bought the stealth box.. that will give you barely any output..

Your system will basically sound almost but not as good as a FACTORY PREMIUM system and you definitely paid wayyyy wayyy too much.. You will never be impressed with the sound of your system. It will barely be ok... for what you paid you could have bought a system that would impress the **** out of you..

The speakers you bought are Alpines lowest end. You should not get "bass" from them especially since your doors are not "deadened" you should only hear minimal mid-bass and I mean BARELY ANY!

The speakers can't handle the lower frequencies so they will either not play them or distort at high volumes.

You really needed to learn about how your amp's crossover works.

You really needed to see if the High Pass Filter was set properly.

You also should have your EQ set to FLAT for now with all bass boost set to Zero.

You needed to read your manuals and understand them...

the ipod bass problem. You need to have the EQ on your ipod set to OFF or Flat NO BASS BOOST!

you have blown a ton of cash for a sub par system...

do you do all of your own work on your house/car?

I do a lot of home reno type stuff on my own.

BUT I DO RESEARCH AND LEARN AS MUCH AS I CAN BEFORE ANYTHING!

and if i am paying someone to do it I definately do research to see what is involved.

if you don't know what is involved that is when they kno yer a fool and take advantage of you.

The stuff this dude is asking about is the bare basics of car audio... he should have done research before spending this kind of cash..
