So I finally got all my gear set up, and it sounds great! But I have an issue that's really grindin' my gears. I popped in my favorite track and cranked it up, after about 10 seconds everything cuts off, my front components, my sub, and stock rears running off the head-unit (components are run off a 4-channel Alpine). All I get until I turn it down is a slight buzzing coming from the rear speakers. Now if I turn the fade all the way to the front, I can crank the jams all day long without a hitch. It's a 98 Explorer so the rears are a pain in the *** and a half to get to, so I was hoping to get some feedback on what it could be.
I was thinking maybe either I accidently hooked up the rear speakers in reverse polarity, or one or both of them are starting to blow? They sound fine at low-mid volume. I have like zero slack on my headunit connections so I'm hoping it's a direct issue and not a process of elimination type issue //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif
