just put the deadener on the trunk lid and still have a problem area. it is between the outside of the lid and the plastic body molding connecting the rear tail lights. i was thinking about putting some of that expanding foam to fill the gap. has any body ever done this? just wondering how yall think it would work.

There is blue stuff for windows or something- basically it doesn't force stuff out, just expands to where it can then stops. The normal yellow stuff will push and bend shit.

exactly! If you have big spaces use the regular stuff in small increments. If you have small gaps to fill get the windows and doors minimal expanding version.
