so, I, with nothing to do, stumbled upon a pic of the Alpine CDA-7998R.. for those who do not know, the R sufix stands for European models of Alpine decks...
what surprised me at first glance was the fact that the body of it is copper plated, what could point out that the European alpines are made for better quality rather than the americans...
also, notice that it's made in Japan.. usually, the american alpines are made in Korea ou China //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif
a few other european models of alpine head-units (the difference in the color of the faceplate and buttons are noticeable)...
9815RB (9815)
9812RB (9813???)
9833R (9833)
9827R (9827)
9835R (9835)
European is always better than american... even their chicks..
jk
