im lookin at maybe 4 of these on my rear deck for my substage. would this be decently loud? is having subs in cabin a good idea? (when i have a trunk to work with) Im not looking for 150's but if i cn meter on TL at mid 130's to right at 140 with these, it would be bad ***. i doubt they are that capable, but who knows.

2 of em sealed with around 150w get pretty loud acually... not 150's loud but loud eough for some xtra bass

having subs in your cabin i belive is just like having subs in an SUV.

How do you put subs in the rear deck without making them IB. Build a box connected to the rear deck from the trunk? Sorry I'm not a car audio guru =/

you could go ahead and build a box without a top, then cut a hole in the rear deck the size of the box, and glass it to the top of the rear deck, through the hole, into the box, then attach a baffle on top of that somehow and seal that off.

but if you have cross-bars for your trunklid, i would take a look, then decided what you think you can and\or cant do.

im lookin at glassing the rear deck (there are speakers there already) and everything will be removed. the deck has bracing under it which i was possibly thinking about taping up and glassing that for the air space. i just think placement MAY be an issue because it IS a fast back style carand the rear glass is somewhat layed forward. i think i can fit 4, but six would be pushin it. i have a nine.1 to run them, so i guess power is no real issue. any more ideas on how to do this? my only concern is that the headrest part if the seat shapes out on the deck, and i want to keep that in the final design.
