is this possible? i know that 4g only rated for 1400 watts butt i know that the hifonics wont put all 2000watts out. i really dont want to spend all day rewiring my ride to 0 awg i just need someone else to push me and say i cant use 4 on that amp.

What about 4g on a clarion dpx1800 which is rated at

* 800 Watts of Maximum Music Power

* 450W × 1 Into 4 Ohms, 20Hz-20kHz @

* 800W × 1 Into 1 or 2 Ohms, 20Hz-20kHz @

I've got 4 guage running mine for now, and its fine. Just gotta make the length as short as possible, and you will be good to go. The 2006 will accept 2 ga wire fyi.

ok guys, i have 4 in my car now. i went to my local shop and got a KILLER deal on 1/0 wire. since this amp only excepts 2 can i run the main run into a distro block and come out of the distro with 2g?

I also am running 4 ga to mine but I'm only running it @ 2 ohms for now until I upgrade.I thought I heard someone tell me that you can run 1/0 wire directly to the amp.
