EQ's?? and settings..

alright.. My phone (which I use for all my music listening) has a 6 way EQ... My hu, has a 3way.

Do I set the phone to flat? and adjust the hu only?

Also.. When using the AUX jack, I get a new setting which says "AUX +/-" and it goes from -10 to +10... Then the SUB setting.. again a -10 to +10.
