EQ Question- Pioneer DEG-9200 or Alpine?

I was looking at getting a Pioneer DEQ-9200 EQ to run my Ipod off of in my car. The specs say that the unit only has .5 volt preamp output. Does it make that much difference what the volt rating is? I also was looking at the Alpine one that is almost the same but it has 4 volt preouts. What do you guys think? Has anyone had any experience with either of these units? Thanks.. Joe

you will be happy with the deq-9200. I had one back in y2k. They are nice. pro mode has a great 3 band parametric spread over 30 bands. Very nice to shape a great curve.
