Enough venting?

I have a box for 2 8s that measures 5 10/12ths of top mounting depth. I was looking at the soundqubed hds208s that require 5.5" of mounting depth. Is my box deep Enough? If not then I'm just going to go the sundown e8 route.

Is this a sealed box? I think I read somewhere if the motor has a vent in the back, you don't want to have it right against the wall like that so I would say no.

yeah it's nice to have an inch from back wall.. could u add 3/4 wood baffle on front of box?

Problem is that it's a downfiring box under the backseat of a truck so i don't think I'll be able to add a spacer

Worst case you could chamfer the back wall on the inside about the diameter of the motor back that way you get a little more room to keep from starving the coil for air.

With aero ports its the radius of the port from the back wall. So with the pole vent just make sure its 1/2 the diameter.

These weird numbers....I don't know where they're getting them but it makes it confusing. I see what you did there....just divide 10 into 12 and come up with what you replied.
