enough power???

Those Sonys are 400 watts RMS, a friend of mine has a pair. They start to sound REALLY bad when you put more than 300 or so to each. What is your price range for the amp?

just go drop ur subs on the groud repeatedly. those subs hitting the ground will be louder than they will ever hit with any amp

For 120 bucks, i'm not sure you can get anything all that good. If youre not willing to go higher, youre gonna have to go with a low end amp, and when coupled with your low end subs, is going to sound pretty bad. Here are some amps I'd suggest:

they dont look that great to me......i probably wouldnt put my money on them being good. way too cheap, and im sure that they arent durable........it just seems like that, it might not be

yeh sonys and other produts in the lower class off car audio are overrated the problem with that is u dont know how much power to feed them..... for instance I have 2sony 6'9s they ssaid 50 watts rms 110 peak i snet them 50 rms each and what happened? they both blew if i knew they were gonna blow i would have just kept them hooked up to my cd player see its stuff like that some companies need to be more honest

look man i think i'd buy an boss amp 4 channel 800 watts here in venezuela they are cheap and very popular not for the price they are popular for they sound... if buy one of those i'll buy the ones that are 200x4 but if briged them i can get 400x2... 400 watts for each sub sounds like a pretty good idea i mean they are going to sound to the half power of the sub cause they are 800 watts each i've heard that mines are the old generation they don't have the gold letter under sony in the round black little sorround box i think the new ones are the ones that sucks
