Enough power for my highs? PLEASE HELPOOOO!!!

Hey everyone, ok i have the alpine mrv-f345 amp and have the polk audio mmc6500 component speakers. I mids sound pretty good and i know this is a good amp but i think that if i fed it more power then my mids would sound better, what do you think. Also if you think i should get a new amp then what amp do you suggest. I have 4ohm polk speakers in the back also but coaxials. Thanks everyone

75 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms at 14.4v

and i think 50wx4 @4 ohms at 12v

the polks specs are

bridge your 4 channel and see how they sound with more power...

honestly if they are sounding crappy at 50 watts rms (at 12v) then you might need to look at somehting else. maybe equalizer or something.

Sure you could probably power them up some but still...50 watts should at least sound pretty warm.

Ditch the rears and bridge your amplifier. That should give you a solid 100+ watts per side.

hey everyone, ok i would but my amps kinda weird, when i bridge into 4 ohms then this is the only option i have.

75Wx2+300Wx1 @ 4 ohms bridged

Also the speakers do sound good but im still wondering if the extra power would make them sound better....?

I just finished installing my mmc6500s and I have to say Im very dissapointed in them.

I had them bridged at first to get roughly 120wrms per side and they sounded really muddy in single input mode and it seemed like even -6db still wasnt enough on the tweeter to get any actual midbass out of the midwoofer.

So then i gave them each their own channel and they sound better but they still distort way more than i would have expected, it seems like my 4" inifinty reference co-ax got louder than my tweeter does now...
