Ok first I was looking to get 4 TC 1000 10", now I am torn between the 2 BL 12", or the 2 OEM 10". Help me choose and please give me a good reason. Of course BTL's are the monsters, but I am looking for peak output and sq with the available power.

i would never want to run more than two subs in a DD setup.

I'm not looking to put you down, but the tc 1000 has an rms of 400 watts and 1000 peak with a low mms. Add to that a 24 mm of xmax and it is real close to what I am looking at. The aluminum cone is what has shy'd me away, it may be years from now but aluminum WILL have stress fractures. The CVX is a great sub, but do to the power I have and what I'm looking for they just wont work for me. I do appreciate your input though.

The TC OEM 10" is secsy. Two of them will take your power no problem. I wish I had known they were coming out. I bought 4 OEM 12"s.

if you want to go that root then pm supa c he sells tc2+ which is bassically the same thing as a tc1000 and i think he has some with paper cones. also when he quoted me a price it was under a 100 a sub.

for a little less money the SSD 10's or the SoundSPlinter RL-i 10's.

HE only has 2000w, so he'd only be able to power 2 Qs. He could get the SSDs with soft spiders. I do like the RL-i option though. Too bad they're $175 apiece.
