engine whine and clicking noise?

I asked this ages ago about engine whine coming from my rear left speaker, and the consensus was that it was a bad ground. Well i finally checked it all out, and the ground seems fine. It happens once every few hours for like 10 minutes, and eventually stops. Basically the volume of the left rear gets quieter (but music is still audible), and there is a good amount of whine. today i noticed that there is also a soft clicking noise, kind of like morse code, and when i hit a big bump in the road the whine disappeared. The local shop guy that i go to said that it most likely is from the amp, since it only happens to one channel, but i dont like the idea of not having music for a month or however long it takes to get checked out, plus they might not find any problems since it doesnt always happen.

move your rca's away from any power wires..... same thing happened to me, moved my power wire from my rca's and it was gone //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

the thing is, why would it be the exact same channel, and every once in a while? that is what i dont get.

myth my ***.... if i go out there right now and put the rca's beside the power wire the whine comes back dick .... move them away and its gone! so dont listen to the dumbass above saying its a myth, i know ive heard and fixed it along with alot of other ppl on here, if the wine is coming from one ch. then switch the rca's that go into the amp for that channel with one that doesn't make the noise.... if its still there then its prob your amp or a connection from the amp to the speaker.... but if its gone its either your h/u on that rca or the rca itself

update/another question. I swapped the front and rear rca's to the amp, and now instead of the back left getting whining noise etc. the front left sometimes just cuts out for only a few seconds, but without any sort of whine. Im guessing that means that the headunit output may have issues, but how come this time around there is no whine? and why would it cut out for a far shorter period of time?
