Engine swap

So I purchased a 5.8l V10 engine the other day put a downpayment on it and I still have some left to pay off before I can pick it up and bring it home... But I was thinking of either putting it into my Truck(98 ram 1500) but a lifted truck isnt for racing so either a 99 Durango 2wd or a Stealth but I dont thing the stealth will handle all that power to it. WHat do you guys think Durango or Stealth. Both will be used as a sleeper to mess with little ricers(no offense to their drivers) but for what Im paying for the engine I need something to put it in

put it in the durango, probably a lot less work/custom fab. Lower the durango and put the r/t package on it. Oh and dont forget 22's or better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That stealth would be sick with a V10 in it, but you have a lot of conversions headed your way if you are to be successful at that type of install.

Sorry its the 8Liter engine not 5.8 my mistake. But the durango its almost a bolt on with it just needing to be lowered a little bit more what whats the difference with the R/T package

i'd throw it in the stealth but you're going to have to reinforce the transfer case i'm getting and how is the engine mounted? transverse or longitudinally.... that word escaped me for some reason?

that would be kinda sick having it in the stealth...that would be one bad *** sleeper, but ye like stated above....an aaaassss of work to get it in there...
