Engine noise, please give input

So i had some engine noise in the car. I replaced the RCA's and the noise went away. Then about four days later, its back again just as bad as before.

What would cause this to happen?

try replacing them every other day. should keep the noise away.

Got a Pioneer? Try grounding the RCAs...(at least this is what I've heard)

weird... maybe the place you have the HU grounded to is a bad spot??

Is the amp mounted? Sounds like ground shields on the rcas are loose, try groundingrcas,deck, and amp better
