Enclosure Wood...what can you use?

mdf, baltic birch, trupan, for small boxes--subflooring work fine despite what most people will say.

It will work ok. It might be a little harder to work with due to splintering. Make sure its at least 3/4" and use a good wood glue.

I dont know if thats what MDO looks like...its the stuff they use to make signs, and concrete forms...I will be making a pretty big box, a ported one for a 15" woofer.

I wouldn't use MDO. I would stick to the $20/sheet 3/4" MDF.

i was at HD today and they had 13 ply birch sheets for $23.
