hey all you box builders out there, i need tips on building 2 single boxes and putting them next to eachother in my trunk, i have LOTS of room and i was thinking of a box with these specs..(each single enclosure) the subs that are going in the enclosures are the newer style RE Audio 12" XXX series, any thought please post them here (or pm)

optimal is 2.2 plus displacement i do believe. so i figured something around these numbers that would fit nicley in my trunk (2 put together) so they look like this |o[|]o|

with the port in the middle if you know what i mean

Go bigger on the enclosure size! RE audio's specs for a 12" XXX is off, Greg at RE audio will tell you that him self! I have had great results in 3cuft after port and sub displacement tuned to 34hz.

greg game me designs that didnt add up when i put them into a calculator, i posted what he sent me in a different thread.

i will never use a sealed enclosure and the only way to get it into my car is to make 2 seperate enclosures. because the weight of the box with the subs inside would be about 350 pounds, im using 1" mdf to build, already made a 3d view if anyone wants to see, i had to change some dimensions in my origional design
