Enclosure size recommendation for Alpine Type-R sub?

What sealed size would you recommend for an Alpine Type-R subwoofer? (Pretty basic question, lol.)

Alpine recommends .85 cubic feet for the 12, IIRC...installed one for a buddy not too long ago.

1.5-2 cubes for a 12... 1-1.5 for a 10.. can't go wrong with a little too big, but too small isn't good... Type-R's i believe work well in small sealed enclosures

It's a 12" sub and I will be fiberglassing the enclosure into the trunk...
