enclosure placement ??

i have an 18" stroker in the back of my blazer, which is the best way to put enclosure. The sub faceing closer to the back hatch or right up against the back seat?

Generally in SUV's you get the most output with the sub firing toward the headliner and the port firing toward the hatch. Of course it might be different for each vehicle, so the only way to find out is to build different enclosures and test different positions.

i have it in a ported box, subzone design...

i have always been told to make it face the back window, but lately i have been putting the sub facing up and it sounds basically the same (i have a 4-runner)

In a SUV face it up and the port back..
