I hear people using like Rustolium for whatever reason.

The paint is less important then the prep work. There is a stick with instructions though.

Depends on the effect you're looking for and your painting skills / equipment. People use everything from Rustoleum with a brush or roller to urethane automotive paint. In between those are the rattle can spray paints. Take your pick.
