Enclosure Help?

Hi,

I picked up a pair of Power Acoustik, I know, crap brand, subs today. They are model XPS-1060. They appear to be fairly sturdy and made by Eminence? I was thinking this because they say Power Acoustik USA and California USA on the back. Does anyone have any recomendations for an enclosure for these? They will be powered by a Crunch PZI1500.1 with the gains set low. Here is a link to the pics.

No model name. The only thing I could find online said they were 91db 600 Watt and from 1997?

are you going ported or sealed

I would prefer to go slot ported but it depends on enclosure size. They are going into a 2002 Kia Rio, sedan not hatchback.

well the subs look like the P210's. I would go about 3 to 3.5 cubes slot ported considering the trunk size of the car.

Hmmm, I figure I have about 2 cu.ft. given I haul around a stroller. Could I go sealed in 2 cu.ft? Or possibly stuff the hell out of it and stay ported?

Would using the aeros allow me to go smaller? Is there a ratio I can use to determine how much smaller?

Another ?. Given the large enclosure requirements could I make an adapter to mount these free air to my rear deck and fire through the stock 6.5" holes. I could make a taper from the 10" to the 6.5" opening. Could the restriction in the size of the front area also help control the cones for free air use?
