Hey!
I'm about to build a box for my two Hertz HX300D subwoofers. I'd rather build a relatively large box to complement the surroundings in my trunk (station wagon). I guess that means I have to build a vented box. Although I've heard that these subwoofers sound much better in a closed box, is that true? I listen to all kinds(!) of music, but deep bass with good respond is nice. As much SQ as possible without taking too much performance away. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif They will be kicked by a DLS Ultimate A6, 1200w@1ohm.
Anyhow, anything between 2.29-3.53 cu ft (65-100 liters) would be great. What do you suggest? I also have a reflex tube (Aeroport) that is 15,5cm (6,1") in diameter and 30cm (11,8") length, can I use that, or do I need another one?
Or should I skip vented box and go with a smaller closed box?
Parameters: here
Thanks in advance!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
