Enclosure Design for 12" Fi Q

I just got rid of my suv and bought a car and I plan on putting my Q in my car but don't want to use the same box because it's just too big. Right now it's in 2.5 cubes at 32. I was thinking about going sealed for SQ but then again I want it to be loud enough for the sound to come from the trunk into the cabin of the car. I'm a low end feind, so I definitely want the lows. For a mixture of SQ and SPL while retaining some trunk space I was thinking 1.8cuft (FI recommended minimum) tuned low to like 28-30. How would this work compared to going sealed in 1.5 cubes?

IMO 1.5ft^3 sealed.

I have mine running in a 1.25ft^3 and it's plenty loud on 500 watts.

what would the difference in the low end be, comparing 1.5 sealed to 1.8 ported @30?
