Picked up a 150$ sub to play around with from a local dealer. Colossal Sounds extreme 12, 750 watts RMS. Going in 2 cubes tuned to 32 HZ using a 4 inch round port.. Looks decent for 150$.

The sub will be running on an RDS audio 2k, which is 2000 rms @ 1 ohm. Im running it at 2 ohms with this 750 rms dual 4 ohm sub, which should be more than enough.

Testing stains. Probably going with a dark red color with a semi-gloss oil based urethane. Putting in a terminal cup made from a repurposed 1/4 inch thick poly-plastic cutting board and some zinc nuts and bolts.
