Enclosure (BOx) Recommendations for 2 Type R's

what would be the best box for my alpine R's 12" 500 RMS (x2) , i definatly want to go ported, but should it be an L port, or ported with cylinders, CU, Ft? they move air, they are in a box right now that my type S's (1223D) subs were in but they push too much air out the port, and I know they are in too small of a box. can you guys give me some ideas? possibly pictures and dimensions. thanx

i would go 2.0 to 2.5 cubic feet per sub make a box 36 inches length 25.5 deep and 13.5 high make the port 4 inches wide and 13 long that will be a 35 hz tunewhich will be good for those subs that is just a suggestion if ya want i can get ya pics with a cutsheet

yeah 4-5cubes total is about what people run on a pair of 12"ers

the port you can do what ever is easier but a single port is normally better
